Demetris Taxitaris is the CEO of Complyport EU (formerly known as MAP S.Platis), leading the EU operations of Complyport, a global powerhouse in Technology, RegTech and Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) advisory services, supporting the global financial services sector for over 25 years.
Prior to joining Complyport, Demetris served as Head of Asset Management at Bank of Cyprus, working with local and international private and institutional clients across a wide range of industries. Earlier in his career, he worked at Deloitte in London, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant and became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).
Demetris is also the Chairman and a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Cyprus International Financial Firms (ACIFF). In the past, he served as a member of the Boards of Directors of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Cyprus (ICPAC) and the Cyprus Investment Funds Association (CIFA).
